this is a circa 1910 Mills Little Perfection trade stimulator. It is a project, which has been sitting in my garage for years! I always said i would get to it but as I'm about 200 yrs old now, that's not going to happen. YES IT WORKS!!!!! Mechancially, it is complete & works as it should. Thats more than half the battle! Actually, this is a very simple project to complete. All that needs to be done is cut a rectangular piece of oak for the base, & the top piece (this is the straight version, not the round-top version, so makes this very easy to do) & a top piece for the top of the window. Also needs a piece of glass cut for the viewing wndow, & another small piece cut for the "last coin used" window on bottom right front. It does have the outer hardware: the metal coin entry plate & the metal plate around w the lever is depressed. They should really be taken off & nickle plated, but you could also just take them off & use a wire brush/buffing wheel to clean them up. You could also replace the original cards, but to be honest, I think the old cards give it character & I would not replace them. This takes pennies or nickels & I ran over a cpl dozen thru & the reels spun just as they should. It has the hinged door on the back & it does pivot up, but stiicks a little, so could probably use a light sandng on inside edge of door. You see
