Very rare, original ca1910 Chromolithograph Advertising Poster for Emmett Snyder's (aka. "Colonel Tiger Bill") traveling Wild West troupe known as "Tiger Bill's Wild West. This beautiful piece of American Lithographic Art features a full scale battle between Native American Indians and Western Frontier Settlers with buildings afire and the dead and wounded scattered across the ground. It measures approx. 26" x 40" plus what appear to be full, original margins (overall sheet size is 28 1/4" x 42 3/4"). This fantastic Traveling Circus / Wild West Show Poster / Advertising Sign is signed by the lithographer - the Riverside Printing Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (a job printer founded in the 1860s which by the early 20th century was a well known lithographer of large outdoor advertisements for circuses, theatrical productions and on occasion, political campaigns).
