Exquisite antique early 1910 Art Nouveau, pre WWI Rosenthal Porcelain figurine designed by the famous artist, Ferdinand Liebermann. Liebermann began his career with Rosenthal Porcelain in about 1909. This lovely figurine of his dates to 1910. Figurine measures 5 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" in diameter at its base. Completely handpainted and hand gilt. She is holding a beautiful gold egg in her left hand. Embossed on back side of figurine is FERD. LIEBERMANN. Signed on base with the Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria mark in Green. No cracks, chips, hairlines, crazing or repairs. Painting is in excellent condition. One small rub to gilding on base, everything else is perfect. Ferdinand Liebermann's Rosenthal figurines are extremely collectible and sought after.
