WHAT A GREAT PIECE OF THE MISSION ARTS AND CRAFTS ERA. THIS OLD CHAIR WAS MADE CA. 1910. SIGNED WITH ITS ORIGINAL CARDBOARDLABLE. THE LABLE SAYS . THE HARDEN LINE FACTORY #2 CAMDEN NEW YORK . THE FINISH SEEMS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL IN GOOD OLD CONDITION. NEXT TO MINT CONDITION SOME WARE FROM AGE . THIS IS A VERY RARE WELL MADE ARM CHAIR BY HARDEN . STICKLEY AND HARDEN SHARE THE SAME MISSION ARTS AND CRAFTS LOOK. YOU CAN SEE THE LARGE 7 1/4 INCH LONG CORBELS UNDER EACH ARM . ON THE SIDE OF EACH ARM YOU CAN SEE THE HAND MADE PEGGS , VERY WELL MADE CHAIR WITH NICE EXPOSED TENONS ON THE TOP OF EACH ARM . THE SEAT NEEDS TO BE RECUSHIONED THE LEATHER HAS BEEN TAWN STILL THEIR JUST RIPPED . THE ARM CHAIR MEASURES 41 1/2 INCHES TALL BY 27 INCHES WIDE ARM TO ARM. EACH SIDE OF THE CHAIRS HAS FOUR VERTICAL SLATS THEY MEASURE 11 INCHES TALL. VERY RARE . , ALONG THE BACK REST WOULD BE 6 VERTICAL SLATS WITH A SMALL CURVE . THE SEAT MEASURES 17 INCHES BACK TO FRONT BY 18 INCHES SIDE TO SIDE . THE CHAIR ALSO MEASURES 22 INCHES FROM BACK TO FRONT. GREAT OLD ORIGINAL HARDEN MISSION ARTS AND CRAFTS ARM CHAIR VERY SCARCE , ALSO IN GOOD OLD CONDITION VERY STRONG AND WELL MADE . I WILL BE SELLING THIS ITEM FOR THE PRICE I PAID TEN YEARS AGO . IM SURE THE MARKET RAISED SINCE MISSION ARTS AND CRAFTS PIECES ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND . THE LABLE IS IN GOOD OLD CONDITION USUALLY FALLEN OFF OR CANT READ THEM THIS ONES VERY NICE. THE ENTIRE CHAIR IS MADE OF SOLID QUARTER SAWN OAK VERY GOOD WOOD MADE BY ONE OF THE BEST IN THE EARLY 1900S AND STILL TODAY THE HARDEN LINE . CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS .
