Offered is very bright 1911 $2 1/2 Indian Quarter Eagle Gold Coin. While not certified, I spy no scratches or wear that is obvious to the naked eye and the edges are not shaved at all. While I would not grade it as uncirculated, it should grade in the AU range. This said, as the coin is not certified, I can not guarantee that it has not been cleaned at some point in 100 years since it was minted. I love these coins because only the Gold Indians were EMBOSSED (struck INTO the gold blank as opposed to imprinted like all other US coins...and, it is among the most beautiful of all US Coins (along with the St. Gaudens $20 Gold piece, which I am offering in a separate auction.)
