This has the 1943 era slide markings on its left side and serial Number (854836) is on back w the firing pin goes.. This has been polished and refinished in bright blue , this slide has both sights , stripped of all ot parts! Large P proof on top. A very rare slide for the era! This will help you match up your valuable 1943 WWII war 1911A1 and enhance its value!( please note: t is NO schwartz safety cut!). It will also fit any other GI and commercial 1911 45 Frame .but it is for the 45 shooter of collector that must have the right slide on his War time made Colt1911A1! Great shooting condition!
