This is a wonderful MAY 22, 1911 REAL PHOTO & ADVERTISING POSTCARD FIREMEN'S CONVENTION SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. This unique 97 Year old collectible postcard is in very nice condition with no bends or tears. It is postmarked MAY 22, 1911 at SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. and sent to Mrs. Ann Day, Edgerton, Minn. It has a one cent stamp. It measures about 5 1/2 by 3 1/2" The card advertises in a red circle in the center with white letters, W.N.Y VOL. FIREMEN'S CONVENTION, JULY 25 - 26, 1911 OLD HOME WEEK, 23 - 29. In the center of the red circle is a white map with blue markings with a large SPRINGVILLE with a red arrow pointing to it. Around the red circle are designs, wording, and 4 miniature real photos. The top left photo is "A VIEW IN MAIN STREET", top right is "THE NEW PUBLIC SCHOOL, bottom left is "OLD RESIDENTS WILL RECOGNIZE THIS VIEW" - looks like a boat on a lake near the lush surroundings, bottom right is "TO BUFFALO - ONE HOUR BY AUTO STATE ROAD" showing 'NORTH BUFFALO ST .' To the left of the center circle it says "AN IDEAL TOWN TO VISIT" and to the right "AN IDEAL TIME TO COME." This is a Great old Historical Town Public Safety/Firemen collectible.
