1911, T3 Turkey Red Baseball Tobacco Premium # 117 - Frank "Wildfire" Schulte, Chicago National League, issued by the American Tobacco Company
This is an original, untrimmed, unrestored, and ungraded cabinet card, 5 ¾ x 8 inches. The color image is bright and vibrant; the border has minor edge chipping, more so on the right upper and bottom corner. T is a small pin hole at the top center. The back of the card has a checklist of number 51 to 126 of the other "Prominent Base Ball Players and Athletes" whose cards were available for 25 coupons from Old Mill or Fez Cigarettes or 10 coupons from Turkey Red cigarettes.
The first Chicago Cub MVP was the right fielder Frank "Wildfire" Schulte in 1911. He would go on to play with the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Phillies and the Washington Senators before ending his career in the minors in 1926.
