is what I perceive to be the 1912 version of the modern day Triple A or AAA Tour Book! Entitled THE AUTOMOBILE OFFICIAL 1912 BLUE BOOK, Vol. 2, for NEW ENGLAND, it's loaded with grand old hotel advertisements, and all sorts of ads related to travel from garages to tires to thermoses......and automobile route MAPS, MAPS, MAPS--including a fold-out map of New England and eastern Canada in the front. T are some full-color, full page ads, but the majority are in the bluish tinted paper/print. The leattte cover (last photo) is tattered and torn, especially the spine binding at the top and bottom. The front inside cover and frontispiece is a two page spread of skeletal main routes in New England and eastern Canada. (The left page is mostly unglued from its backing, but completely intact. The binding is not loose.) The inside back cover is a full page ad for FISK TIRES. What a wonderful tour back in time of the early 20th century grand hotels of New England!! I had read more
