Very rare, original 1912 Large Size Coca-Cola Advertising Calendar with pad.

This fantastic original, 1912 Coca-Cola Advertising Calendar measures overall approx. 30” x 16" with pad, pad alone measures 7.5" x 16".

I have been told this is a 'distributor' calendar, done more than likely by a local bottler for a business in town. The bottom left of the artwork reads "Blatchford Bros" some of the paper in this area is missing. There were many of these distributor calendars done in all shapes and sizes. The artwork on this calendar was indeed used in the 1912 time frame on paper signs for displays, yet not on stock calendars issued by CC. Distributor calendars range in value depending on size and overall condition; some are easier to find than others. This particular artwork is extremely rare to find!

The pad portion has intact the months of August thru December 1912. Each month has a Coca Cola saying on it.
This very rare and very beautiful, original 1912 Coca-Cola Calendar does have some condition issues with some of the paper missing around the edges and where the pad meets the top portion of the calendar. The pad has become separated from the top. The lithography is of the very highest quality and the colors are soft and warm with no significant fading or darkening. This Calendar was printed on a very fragile paper stock. This does have edge wear some pieces missing and some tears, and has not had repairs of any kind. There is some spotting as well that could easily be removed when restoration is done. All of these issues you can see in the photo's. I was considering having this restored and framed as with restoration this would be an incredibly beautiful and rare Coco Cola display piece. A true collector would value this restored or not. Could be framed as is.

Please look at all the photo's as they will show in detail the condition issues I have described. I was only able to find this original image, WITHOUT pad that sold and it was for over $11,000 in very good conditon, with restoration and pad this could be a very valuable item to invest in!
