This is a lot of two original double sided posters or heralds promoting the 1926 movie Custer’s Last Fight . These two pieces are both identical and printed on both sides measuring about 22” x 8”. Custer’s Last Fight was a 1912 silent movie produced by Thomas H. Ince and directed by Francis Ford who also starred as George Armstrong Custer in the film. This poster dates to the 1926 rerelease of the movie upon the 50 th anniversary of the Battle of Little Big Horn. The posters include photographic illustrations of Custer, Sitting Bull and others legendary figures of the Old West including Buffalo Bill Cody and Calamity Jane (in spite of them having nothing to do with the Battle of Little Big Horn). Both posters are vintage originals from the 1926 rerelease of the movie in excellent condition overall and very suitable for framing or display. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
