1912-D Liberty Nickel. PCGS graded MS-63. Light golden toning. The dies on this piece were plainly well beyond the time for them to have been retired, as seen in the soft impression left behind. 1912 represents the first issue of five-cent coinage at the Denver Mint. Housed in an old green holder (PCGS # 3874).
