Heavy, inscribed, antique sterling silver inkstand dated 1912. Tray and inkwell are plain and try stands on 4 "claw" feet. Inscription reads,"This Inkstand was presented jointly by The Tees Wharf Owners Association and The Middlesbrough District of the Dockers Union to Mr. Theodore Wilfred Fry in recognition of his services as Arbitrator and to record their appreciation of his tactful and skilful conduct in bringing the Parties to agreement.
