1912 SILVER CASED ENGLISH LEVER POCKET WATCH A GOLD LONDON WORKING Description : Antique Circa 1912 big chunky silver cased English lever pocket watch in good working order. The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals and gold coloured hands and marked A Gold London, Universal English Lever, Genuine. The movement has a jewelled end stone with an English lever escapement, clean with a good strong tick keeping good time and marked British Watch Co Ltd London, Safety Pinion, Warranted Made in England and the number 709230. It is key wind and set. The back covers are marked to the inside with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1912, WE and the number 78. The case is clean and bright and has pocket wear as to its age with all the covers closing nice and tight, the dial and dial glass are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks with a few faint hairlines to the bottom of the dial, Otherwise in good condition.
