Album Up for auction... is a Original Arts & Crafts MICA Table Lamp Shade from around 1913.Has the Beautiful warm glow of a fireplace when lit as you can see.Also has a great design with a Diamond shaped tip at the end of each of the six panels.All six panel sides are shown.Panels are held together with metal tabs that look like lacing so will last for ever with no string breaks.Other than flaws mentioned this piece is in over all excellent condition with no holes or cracks in the mica.Aso all soldering tight with nothing loose.The 6 flat panels have a period multi colored & thin cut rice paper STENCIL DESIGNS.The panels have scattered paper loss as seen.Please veiw each panel.The worst loss seen in {pic 2}.The next {pic 6}.The rest graduating to very little to practically none. With a little talent,easily restored if desired.Spraying rice paper at a distance in 2 tone colors {to creat speckles}.Colors Burnt sienna or brown & Raw sienna.Cut & apply with clear acrylic. Measures 12 1/8" Widest at base x 7 1/2" Across top x 8" Tall. Don't miss this chance to add a period shade to your Victorian or Arts & Crafts Stickley style home collection.
