Up for auction is a vintage 1913 Schuco Mercer 1225 Old Timer tin windup car in working order. The toy comes with a key. Toy is 7 ½” long. On the bottom it has Schuco Mercer 1225 TYP 35 J 1913 INT. Patents Pend. DB Patent Angem. D.B.G.M. Made in Western Germany Importe DAllemagne. The windshield is missing, the bracket that is fastened to the steering wheel is intact, only plastic is missing. There is no box for the toy. When you wind the toy you move one lever and it shakes but does go, move the other lever and the car goes forward. It was made to sit and shake as per idle and other lever to go forward. A great toy to add to your collection.
