A 1914-15 Star trio all correctly impressed to: 1571 L.SJT. J. HUTCHEON, R. SCOTS (on the 1914-15 Star), & 2. LIEUT. J. HUTCHEON (on the BWM & Victory Medal). James Hutcheon's Medal Index Card shows that he served in the 9th Battalion Royal Scots and was Commissioned in September 1915. The Card shows that he was an "Honorary Lieutenant" in the Royal Scots Fusiliers and that his BWM & Victory were issued with the rank "2/Lt." His contact address at the time of application for his medals was at "Catharinefield, Dumfries". The Index Card also shows that he became eligible for a Silver War Badge in May 1918, so may have been wounded. The medals are in very good condition with long lengths of original silk ribbons. I will supply a copy of his Medal Index Card to the winning bidder. Please see my other medal sales which may be of interest.
