RARE - 1914 Virginia Military Institute Commencement week program. Leather bound booklet.This program belonged to a Cadet who later became 2nd Lieutenant in the Marines. He received the Navy Cross and Distinguished Service Cross for his extraordinary heroism during World War I. He was killed in action June 1918 in France.Approximate dimensions: 6-1/2 inch x 5 inch.Vintage with light age patina, yellowing of the pages.email if you need additional pictures.
