This listing is for a real photo postcard honoring the victims of the Eastland Disaster of 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. Here is what Wikipedia says about this calamity." "The SS Eastland was a passenger ship based in Chicago and used for tours. On July 24, 1915 the ship rolled over while tied to a dock in the Chicago River. A total of 844 passengers and crew were killed in what was to become the largest loss of life disaster from a single shipwreck on the Great Lakes. It is in excellent condition with no tears or creases and very little corner or edge wear." The card has no tears or creases but is a little faded.
