This auction is for an original FREEMSONRY AWARD DOCUMENT presented to Leo Adelbert Westover, dated 1915, for acheiving the level of 32ND DEGREE of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry: MASTER OF THE ROYAL SECRET. Written in Latin and with 4 gold seals, along with Frederick Webber's portrait, this is an 18 1/2" by 23 1/2" thick stock paper that has been rolled and saved for over 90 years. T are no rips or tears but it does show creases from being in a rolled position for a very long time. Frederick Webber (pictured) was the Grand Commander and wrote a famous Masonry book that contained the Articles 1 through XVIII entitled: Stautes of Supreme Council; Grand Commander; Sov. Grand Inspectors-General; and other officers; Council of Administration; emeritus and honorary members; charters and by-laws; rituals; secret works and other books; revenues, fees and taxes; financial provisions; misc. provisions; Court of Honor; titles and official signatures; grand decorations; jewels and rings; clothing and uniforms; trials; Grand Consistories; declatory disposition; and Regulations governing: Lodges of Perfection; Chapters of Rose Croix; Council of Kadosh; Consistories. I have looked through more papers in the lock box w this was found and am adding dues receipts for membership in the Freemason's for years 1916, 1921, 1923, and 1929.
