1915 PM1 Ornate Frame Pins Chief Bender - One Original Card. A startling high grade discovery of these pins in 2007 shed a small beam of light upon an issue that still remains largely shrouded in mystery. Though it has been established that these Ornate-frame Pins date to 1915, the identity of the original issuer and the mode of distribution remain an enigma. This stunning assortment of Mint pins added the name Chief Bender to the line up as he was previously unknown as an PM1 subject. Offered is one of the few bender pins known, still attached to its original 2x2" display card. The central image presents well with a dark contrasting quality with a small spot of paper adhered to it and one small spot of damage. The delicate metal frame is undamaged with little to no oxidation. Grade: 0, Service: Appraised, Service No.: 2214220
