ITEM: Grapefruitmoongallery has acquired a collection of incredibly unusual World War I European front art, created by Albert Rust, a British soldier stationed in France, who created an epic series of small drawings, cartoons, and sketches that he would use as postcards that he sent letters home on. These are really an incredible time capsule and very unusual slice of World War I soldier life. You are bidding on a 1915 postcard hand drawn and written by Albert Rust, featuring a soldier bidding farewell to his horse with caption "Good by old chum. Hope to see you looking well when I return" Postcard reads "Dear Mary, Just off to the trenches. In great hurry, will write later. Many thanks for letter. Albert."
