1915 Antique York Cast Iron Safe with good lettering and paint, currently being used! Sold as is, no warranty implied. Available for pick up only by purchaser. Must be paid 100% in advance via PayPal. No refunds or returns. PLEASE SEE ADDITIONAL RESPONSES TO THE QUESTIONS BELOW. SORRY ABOUT THE FLASH IN THE PICS, IT MAKES THE LETTERING BETTER TO SEE IN THE PIC. I am posting additional pictures to respond to some of your questions, I'm not a safe expert but I'll do my best to respond. I got the safe out of the original Carr's Store in Manchester...it has the original painting from York Safe Company outside & inside. How do you know the date of the safe is 1915? Is anything printed or painted on the outside of the door? The inside of the front safe door has the date originally painted on it. See new picture (the flash is on the right & is NOT a blemish on the safe, it's just clearer to see with the flash. There isn't any other date on the safe. Are all four finials present - one on the top and bottom of each hinge? Yes, please see picture I posted. Are all four wheels present and does the safe roll OK on all four wheels? Yes, all wheels are present & rolls clearly, see picture I posted. How many numbers in the combination? 2. Combination was changed by local locksmith. Does the locking mechanism [all bolts] operate properly to lock the safe? Yes. Are there keys for all of the locks on the inside door and compartments? Yes, there are two keys for the inside door. There are NO compartment locks or keys. The top compartment appears to have had a lock at one time but there is no lock mechanism, just a small hole. Is there any damage or repairs not stated? Not that I'm aware of. Safe is currently being used. Being sold as is since I'm not a safe expert, I'm giving the best description & responses I can. Is local pickup in Manchester, Maryland? Yes Will the safe be 'outside' for pickup? It can when paid in full. We will help load on your truck.
