Very old, exactly 90 year old book for pharmacists and druggists --THE PHARMACOPOEIA OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA--9th Decennila Revision--Official from Sept. 1916--Philadelphia--P. Blakiston's Son & Co.-- Contents include a long list with descriptions of a wide variety of pharmaceutical agents-drugs, chemicals, herbs , etc. Chapters include Comparative tables, atomic weights, test solutions, general tests (arsenic, heavy metals, iodine absorbtion, etc), melting points, congealing points, optical rotation, POWDERS, PERCOLATION, STERILIZATION, DIAGNOSTICAL REAGENTS AND CLINICAL TESTS, Tables, etc. Pharmaceuticals include opiates, cocaine, cannabis, belladona, etc, etc. Book has hardcovers and is intact with spine. T is some slight discoloration in one corner of spine and upper left of front cover. Pages are clean. Very heavy and thick volume is 728 pages and measures 6 1/2" x 9 1/4"---OLD, from 1916, not a modern reprint or copy.
