This is another interesting Real Photo Post Card image, in this case of the Fred Harvey run "Harvey House" Escalante Hotel and the A. T. & S. F. (Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe) Railroad Depot in Ash Fork, Arizona (written in the negative to the upper left hand card front). Ash Fork is a small town right along Route 66 in Yavapai County, with some interesting Geologic points of interest nearby including Cathedral Caverns and Dante's Descent This Eastman Kodak Un-Divided Back AZO RPPC dates from the early 1900s, circa 1917 (hollow letters in the words POST CARD, and arrows pointed both up and down at the corners of the stamp box), and is a sharply focused black and white image of the Hotel and Depot, with a nice perspective view from across the Train Tracks in the foreground. T is no message to the reverse side, and the card was never mailed. The condition is overall very good with nice resolution and good color, showing only minor edgewear and tiny corner bumps, and the reverse side is clean with only minor edge tanning and a few small pencil notations to the borders. This is a true rarity in the field, part of a very interesting and historically significant collection of antiques, photographic images and related ephemera that I'll be listing over the next several weeks on ebay at whipplesbooks, along with a series of unusual art
