This Remington 1917 bayonet in very good condition. The bayonet was used on Enfield P14 P17 and Winchester model 1897 trench shotguns. This bayonet is a orginal Remington 1917 trench and gun bayonet and has the word "Remington" on the blade. The stamping of "Remingtion" is very clear and nicly stamped. The military bomb and eagle can be seen well and the number 30 below the eagle and is clearly stamped The bayonet has about 70- 80% of the blueing. The blueing is a little thin near the tip of the blade. The bayonet appears it may have been re-furbished at the arsenal. The handles are in good condtion and show some wear as picture #5 shows. The side of the handle not shown are in very good condtion. The leather scabbard is very good condition with the leather to metal fit being fully intact. The blade appears that it has not been re-sharpened and if done so lightly.
