Vintage Postcard Wow! This auction is for a great vintage postcard that has a great real photo image of large, old town busy with people and traffic (horse traffic that is). The caption reads Street Scene, Hartland, Wisconsin . Card measures about 5½" x 3½" and is in great condition with a small blemish in the center. Used, postmarked in 1917. Guaranteed old and original! More about this Collection: The originally owner, Heinrich Bartel, was a Austrian immigrant and came to the United States in the 1890-1900 range. He was apparently active in Austrian politics and received many postcards from Political friends living in Austria. He lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and had friends all over the United States and the World. His son went to war in World War II and was heavily decorated. Just a great collection of cards and this is the first time they have left the family. Bidder pays $3.00 for shipping and handling via USPS Mail within the United States.
