ITEM: This is a 1917 Bluejacket's Manual, FIFTH EDITION. This is a duplicate from my personal collection. This is a hardback book that is a wonderful collectible for any military or naval history collector or for the sailor in your life. This great piece of history includes diagrams of ships sailors needed to know including tall ships, has first aid images, pay charts (would not be an enticement to enlistment today!), subjects for chief petty officers and more. CATEGORY: Military/naval history collectible CONDITION: As noted, the front inside binding is loose from the cover page. T is normal age wear on the cover. A few pages have small tears (I believe all pages to be complete and present). A few pages were folded over at some point in time. I do not know how to repair books so will leave these pages as they are. The center pages are loose from the binding. This is not for the collector of pristine books but this hard to find item will still make a wonderful addition to your collection.
