Fr $2 Federal Reserve Bank Note Fr. 769 $2 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Very Fine 25. Fewer than two dozen examples of this Friedberg number are reported extant, with most falling in the VF grade range or lower. In fact, I only know of two other EF's that have ever been offered, with none finer, in the census. This is know as the " BATTLESHIP NOTE ". This has a picture of a World War One battleship on the back of this note. The important battleship "Vignette" remains attractive on this ST Louis example. T his grade of Very Fine 20 is $90 0.00 in the " OFFICIAL RED BOOK ". This is graded higher at Very Fine 25 . This is a very nice to add to any collection. You find that most everyone wants at least one of these in their collection. Please check descriptions from the grader ( if any ) for all fine details of notes.
