This is a US Army, 4th Infantry Division battle map printed in 1918. This map shows the positions and the movements of the 4th Infantry Division from Sept 26 to Oct 19, 198, during the Meuse-Argonne Battle of the First World War. The map measures 20x15 inches and is mounted to vintage hard card board. The map is the typical black line tactical map of the time with the 4th Divisions positions printed in Green ink. Other positions and movements are printed in red. Overall the map is in really good condition. The paper has yellowed and t are some dark spots, but the map is intact. The are NO tears or rips. For an 87 year old map, this one is in pretty good condition. I found this map in this Lucite frame and I have not tried to remove it, but it will slide right out, it is not stuck to the frame at all. #325
