RARE ANTIQUE VERSION OF LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD - POP-UP CHILDREN'S BOOK IN GOOD CONDITION No Restorations evident UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE, TIGHT SPINE, COLOR PLATES, POP-UPS ALL WORK (NO TEARS), ILLUSTRATED - PUBLISHED BY UKRAINIAN PUBLISHING, WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA circa 1919 Date: T is no datemark inside the book, this book has had only one previous owner and from their information and my own research assess the above date to be accurate within 5/10 years either side of the above date (Ukrainian Publishing, Winnipeg was established around 1910). Description: Clean pages (no writing), illustrations on every page, vibrant colors throughout, this beautiful book (measures 7" x 9") tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood through illustrations, color pop-ups and words. Condition: Ageing to the pages including darkening and brittleness apparent, some shelfwear to the hardcover binding and edges including bumping to corners, a stain to the bottom L/H corner of the front cover. No major scratches, rips or holes. A couple of very small tears to the edges inside the book and some loose staples with signs of corrosion.
