this is an USGI Original traverse bar for an M2 or M122 tripod. Not pitted clear markings and has great markings and serrations!! This bar appears to not have been used but probably was a spare sitting on a shelf for the past 50 or 60 years. Many tripods you find today have blank or unmarked traverse bars; many of the Israeli traverse bars are bent! So here is your chance to fix or upgrade your tripod for a reasonable price! Or to install an original graduated bar on your reproduction tripod! These are never found for sale !! Actual shipping will becharged probably around $10.00 in the 48 lower states !
