this site is fantastic and has tremendous information regarding these obscure issues--Allenstein, after World War 1, made the choice to remain with Germany as part of East Prussia through an active Plebiscite of supposedly the people but most likely through governmental back room deals--at the beginning of the second World War, Allenstein was harshly persecuted by Hitler, primarily because so many Polish Jews were living there--a number of the infamous Camps were located in this area--after the War it voted to become a part of Poland where it remains to this day. /Allenstein/Pages/Allenstein_History.html
This is the Rare 3 Mark complete plated Sheet--Beautiful fresh Sheet of 20 overprinted German Stamp with Plebiscite Information--please not that in some cases--especially the large multiples--there may be some minor toning, printer's creases and minor perf separations mostly if at all in the selvedge--very little of this but worth mentioning. On this particular sheet there is a bit of gum missing on the top corner but only in the tip of the selvedge and not as you can see in the field of the stamps.
Some of these blocks are too big for first class mail and will cost more to ship because of the cardboard mailers--multiple purchases can be combined under one shipping fee however.
