is a beautiful multi-colored "strip card" from the 20 card set issued in 1920 and designated W522 in the American Card Catalog. The card up for auction is #44 in the set (the cards were numbered 31 through 50) and shows Otto Miller, the Brooklyn Robins (Dodgers) star catcher from 1910 through 1922. He had a great year in 1920, batting .289, fielding .986, and guiding the Bums' pitching staff to the NL pennant. The card itself has corner creases and is a bit off-center left-to-right, but the drawing is terrific with bright colors and a nice surface. I think it will grade VG/EX. Please see the scan. The blank back has one tiny spot but is EX at least. $2.00 s/h. No PayPal; personal check is OK. Several Hall of Fame pitchers (Burleigh Grimes, Dazzy Vance) got their starts with Miller; his influence should not be underestimated. Miller was right-handed, by the way; the card is a mirror image.
