This is a great looking 1920-30's era full color lithographed pin-up image entitled, "The Flaming Arrow." Classic Art Deco era Indian princess image that was popular during this time period, looks to have been a calendar top at one time. This image features a wonderful nude image - she's kneeling in a canoe wearing just her full head dress & aims an arrow skyward. Image has been nicely matted & framed in a period gold- tone- wood- frame with glass front panel & sealed backing. Image is clean & intact, you can see the small hanging hole on top edge & small bottom edge tear - no stain, watermarks or excessive wear - colors are clean & bright, looks nicer in person than photos show due to light reflection in glass. The frame is also in nice shape, no breaks or damages. Overall size is 13 ½" x 11", image is 10" x 7", it's marked & numbered in the corner, no artist signature but I would not be surprised if this wasn't done by R. Atkinson Fox.
