This is an excellent looking piece of art pottery from the 1970âe(tm)s, Arts & Crafts style lamp base made by Cowan Pottery of Ohio. Lamp base has naturalistic lily pad style design to base with large leaves, 2 handled top area. Beautiful Egyptian blue color with an iridescent glazed finish, lamp base has the original Cowan ink stamp mark on base & measures 11âe high. Will need to be put back together, have the parts, sockets (marked âe~Benjaminâe(tm), 1920 date) collar, shaft, etc. Itâe(tm)s not wired & has a shaft inside the base that has a nut on bottom âe" can not see how to remove this or how it was assembled. Sold as is & you will have to have to rewired & put together. No cracks, nicks or chips âe" colors are bright & clear âe" would look great in any Mission style décor, Cowan lamp base looks & displays very well & is guaranteed old & authenticâe¦shipping is via USPS for their rate based upon size, weight & distance to your zip code, no handling feesâe¦.
