This is an unbelievable piece of Coca Cola history being offered to the Coca Cola Collector. This is a Manager's copy of the salesman training kit for Coca Cola which dates back into the late 20's and early 30's. The manual itself is an original hand typed and on bonded paper. The manual has a plain blue/grey discolored piece of construction paper for a cover which is discolored from age and has come loose from the manual itself. The manual has 85 pages of lessons for the Coca Cola Salesman including lessons titled: It isn't the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the Dog that counts, Thought is essential to business development The Thinker Wins: Friendly Enemies-Loafing-Short Hours, Pleasant fellows yes but they are after your bankroll, This manual is jam packed with information used to sell Coca Cola products back in the day. None of the pages are torn but they are yellowed due to age. This book was binded by stapling and page 85 has come loose but just needs to be re-attached. The next item in the kit is a green manual called Selling Coca-Cola a reference for the truck salesman and in this booklet it states at the time that Coca Cola was only 43 years old from their beginnings in 1896 so I am thinking this piece is from 1929.
