Here is an original 1920's celluloid tape measure advertising the General Electric "monitor top" refrigerator in excellent condition. On the front is an image of a late 1920's electric refrigerator and on the back is advertising for Brockschmidt's Electric Appliance Stores, 704 Monmouth, Newport, Kentucky, phone South 0500, and 400 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue, Kentucky, phone South 0300.. It measures approx. 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter. On the inside rim is found Patent dates of 7/10/17 and 11/4/19 as well as the manufacturer-Parisian Novelty Co, Chicago. This tape measure is in excellent condition and comes complete with the original metal loop on the end of the tape.
