VINTAGE 1920'S AMETHYST PENDANT EARRINGS These beautiful vintage amethyst and silver earrings are from my late parents estate. They have been in my family for approximately 80 years. My grandfather gave these earrings to my grandmother during the mid 1920's. My grandmother passed them down to my mother. The mountings are silver screw post style adorned with a 4mm diameter half round amethyst stone surrounded by delicate silver lace design. The pendant section consist of a 6mm diameter silver circle and cross with a delicate design carved into it. Suspended from the circle and cross is a 17mm long by 8mm diameter tear drop shaped amethyst stone. Over all length is 40mm (1 1/2"). They are in very good condition with little if any signs of wear. They have been well cared for by both my grandmother and my mother. The stones are relatively clear and brilliant with no visible chips or damage.
