1920's Antique Chad Valley Bear with button. He is 21", not including his ear's. He has very large ears, one has a button but the writing is no longer visible. Made of Mohair, which is wavy and has worn in places mainly around the chest, muzzle and the top of one leg. His feet are very large and card lined and he retains his original cloth pads and paw's. These have slight repairs at the edges, but they have been very well repaired.Please look at photo's.His leg's are large chunky drumstick shaped. His eye's are very large, they are Moon like eye's and one has a chip out of the side and they have been glued on, not sure if they are his original eye's. His nose and mouth stitching need's replacing, He is fully jointed and his joint's move well, he is a bit slumpy where his stuffing has moved, but sit's nicely. He has a straw filled muzzle and the rest of him is filled with something quite soft, not sure what this is. He is a lovely Bear and looking for a new Hug to spend the rest of his day's, wearing a very smart little Military coat.
