So charming as only French can do. Great detail in this lovely 1920's French powder compact. In very good condition. Marked Made in France on the inside base. I believe the metal to be brass. Decorated cover with a large bezel set amythest colored stone and two smaller cabochon stones on each side. The amythest stone is multifaceted and catches the light beautifully. 2 3/8" x 1 5/8". Almost 1/2" tall. Beautiful design on the cover pastels, pink and blue. Shuts tightly. Hinge is perfect. The mirror is in perfect condition. The puff might be hand made, top looks like silk and has a ribbon tab. All around the sides is decorated in a scroll design. Great find!
