On this auction is an adorable Armand Marseille Kiddiejoy bisque head baby doll from the early 1920's. The head is near perfect. No chips, cracks or crazing. Fantastic facial paintin with great color. Molded and painted hair. Blue sleep eyes that work just as they should. Head is about 9" circumference and the doll is about 11" long. On soft stuffed cloth body with celluloid hands. One hand is perfect. The other has broken fingers as shown in photos.This doll has older long Christening Gown which is about 18" long with matching bonnet. It's excellent, but probably not as old as the doll is. Has diaper also probably not original.Great example of the bisque baby dolls from the turn of the century. Kiddiejoy dolls are harder to come by than Dream Baby or Bye Lo. Please ask all questions before you bid or buy! I do my best to describe things correctly, but most items I sell I am not an expert on so ASK before you buy.
