Great circa 1920's Swiss art deco sterling silver (.935), blue guilloche enamel and gold accented ball pendant ladies watch with original cord, slide and sterling necklace . The craftmanship is fine as expected. The case is fully and clearly marked "ARGENT DORE", "0.935", bear in cartouche mark, serial # "31991" and maker marked "M G" in joined diamonds with arrow, perhaps Didisheim-Goldschmidt Fils & Co.?. The watch is wound by twisting the sp and hands move with a button. The ball measures approx. 3/4" across x 1 3/4" from face to top of clip and the cord is 24" long. The watch winds, ticks and runs for a while, I am afraid to over wind it, so I do not know if it will run for an extended length of time. It is in very good condition with dirt on the inside of the crystal(it looks like it will clean once the watch is taken apart), otherwise no enamel loss, no chips, no cracks, no breaks or repairs. The period fitted leather watch case is not original to this watch, it is from Caldwell, Phila. Note items are shipped USPS and insurance is required.
