1920s Bert Huntoon Photo Mount Baker Lodge WA This is an original real photo, probably from the 1920s. This 9" x 6" black and white photo was taken by the legendary Bert Huntoon (1869-1947) who spent his career in western Washington state as both an engineer and a photographer.Huntoon took multitudes of photographs in western Washington during his lifetime, with some of his favorite subjects being Mount Baker, Mount Shuksan, and Mount Baker Lodge (which opened in 1927 and burned to the ground in 1931). Huntoon's photos helped define perceptions of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan during the 1920's and 1930's, and he actively promoted the region's natural beauty during his lifetime. This is a great photo of Mt. Baker Lodge, in the Mt. Baker National Forest in WA, Washington state. The photo is marked "Mt. Baker Lodge" on the photograph and in the lower margin.." The back is marked "Mt. Baker Lodge" and "Photo by Bert Huntoon Bellingham, Wash." This photo is very clear and sharp, and is in excellent condition. T are pinholes in the corner margins. This photograph will be mailed to you in an acid free sleeve with stiff reinforcement to ensure safe delivery to your home. See my other auctions, as I am listing more fantastic old photographs! I have quite a few more Huntoon photos, and many others as well. I am happy to combine shipping
