AWESOME RARE find!!! This is a lot of 16 film strips from Chevrolet in the 1920s. Each film is contained in an individual mini tin. You also get the 3 mailing tubes that these were shipped to the dealership in. The tubes and tins are marked Jam Handy Picture Service. These films are training slides for dealerships salesmen. I could not find a date on the tins or the tubes but there is one tin that someone wrote 1928 in pencil on the top, the cars on the strips also seem to be from the 20's and also there is 2 stamps on the tubes one is a 1 1/2 cent stamp and the other is a 3 cent stamp, That is how I came up with the 1920's. In doing research on these I only could fine one single film that sold here on ebay it was dated 1930 and sold for more than $40.00. The individual tins are either marked volume 3 or volume 4. You get numbers from Volume 3: 2, 13, 14, 19, 21, 23, 25 and from Volume 4: 1, 3, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17. The films strips are all in excellent condition looks like they have hardly ever been out of the tins, You can see the strips very well just unrolling them and looking at them without a projector. I had a blast looking at some of them. The shipping tubes are a little rough 2 of the end caps are missing and the one that is there is loose, the labels are also peeling and partially missing, I can make out the names of the dealerships these were shipped to, they are all in PA but different companys. The companys are Sharpnack Motor Co, Rice Landing, Green County Motor Co, Waynesburg and Sharmack Motor Co(cant make out the city). Dont miss out on this once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of Chevy history!! Im sure these are worth at least $50.00 per film but I want to keep the collection together so I am selling them all at once. I will let you Chevy collectors set the price. VERY LOW STARTING BID!!!
