THIS ITEM: a wonderful Elegant 1920's tall Queen Anne Chest with 5 drawers, elaborately decorated in figured 'Burl' Walnut on top, back splash and front- - for your bedroom or dressing room - super clean, fully refinished by the previous owner, possibly an at-home novice job, but very thorough with clean, smooth results. The carved knees, wrap-around apron, and serpentine bottom edging on the side panel are hard are hard to find premium features.This piece has 3 large drawers and 2 small top drawers, with excellent better than average construction, dovetails all around, double-paneled bottoms in the drawers, and spacer runners along the sides. One replaced handle-the rest original. They are the solid brass heavy-duty type with fine intricate detail. Back splash with carved crestCarved crest on the bottom skirt Carved very Fine cabriole legs with Queen Anne feet Rich honey Walnut finish, and excellent stature- not too tall, but extra-wide.
