ITEM: Beautiful vintage cast iron Art Nouveau Verona smoking stand ashtray with large Bird of Paradise or Parrot figural top and red enamele shell-shaped ashtray. below the aashtray is what looks like a match striker. The base has ornate open work with four feet and the stand has its original orange pumpkin colored wash paint. The underside of the enameled tray is marked Verona Pat. Pend. 401 WHEN MADE: Early 1900sSIZE: Approximately 32" tall x 9 1/4" across the base CONDITION: Free of breaks, bends, dents, rust, stains or repairs with original enamel paint and a deep, rich patina. Please note that any light spots in the pictures are from my lighting and not actually on this piece. Please examine the pictures as I consider them part of the description.
