If you collect German beer steins, is the perfect complement to your collection and probably rarer than some of your steins. This old set would also look fantastic on your back bar. The tall elegant serving pitcher measures a little over 14" in height. The hand-painted features are well done. On the front, a waiter is ready to serve you. The panel is written in German and a rough translation is: "Beer or Wine, I will bring whatever you desire" or so a German friend translated for us. The glasses measure about 5 5/8" in height and each has a matching hand painted theme. The rims of the glasses and pitcher show remnants of Gold banding. The Gold band is now mostly gone, but the painted scene and designs are in strong condition with no signs of loss. Condition wise, the pitcher is perfect as are four of the glasses. One glass has a crack from the top curling down the side. Another of the glasses has a small bit of chipping to the rim. Both of these are shown in the pictures with the red back-ground. T are a few minor bubbles or flaws in the glass such as found in older glass items. This leads us to believe the set dates to the 1920s or 30s. Note:
