These are 8" Tall Porcelain Mammy and Chef Salt & Pepper Shakers. The mark on the bottom of each is a mark used by a company in Japan in the 1920s. 1926 - 1929, to be more precise. They are both in Excellent Condition! T is very minor paint loss, especially for their age. They were probably not used, and only for display. They both have their original corks too. Chef has a tiny hair-line crack on his shoulder, but it only adds to the beauty of these, like crazing, in my opinion. They both do have equal tiny crazing all over that seems to add another dimention to them. I Think anyone would who collects things of this nature would be well pleased! I hesitate to sell them on eBay due to their value, but I don't collect these. They came from an estate sell, as do most of my items. I have set a reserve, but it is still a bargin! Could be a treasured gift for someone! I will consider International shipping on this item, Please inquire! Check out my other items ! I will combine shipping whenever possible! Save a bundle!
