Hello, this auction is for 6, I believe 1920s curtain panels they are all in very nice shape. I have to first tell you that this is not my area of expertice so I will describe to the best of my ability. They are all in very nice vintage condition. First the flaws which I went over these front and back with a fine tooth comb. There are two small stains on the front of one curtain and one kind of vague very hard to see stain at the very bottom of another and a few very small stains on the back. I have since noticed it looks in the next to last picture like there is a big stain on the back it is a shadow. Seriously these are very nice no rips or tears with nice very rich looking color. Not sure if these are silk? satin? damask they do have a sheen. I figured the trained eye will know and information welcomed. They are all pinch pleated 4 of them have the original hooks and 2 of them have sewn on brass rings. I did look for any fading and the only fading I could see was so very slight it will not show up in the pictures. In person you can see it if you are incredibly scrutinizing but is really very slight and down the edges of the outside. Just want to be accurate. Unless you are very close you cannot see. Each panel measures 19 1/2" across the top and 24" across the bottom. They are all 83" long. Anyone into the Greek Revival period would love these as they have the greek key motif and big floral filled urns. They are lined with the same type material as the front only solid gold color. I have tried very hard to take good accurate color pictures and the type color you are reading is almost a perfect match to the color of the drapes. Any questions please ask before bidding and I will do my best to answer....I was going to redo my bedroom and use the two pairs that match and drape one of each of the third pair with the rings over the top for a kind of valance. But just never did. I have had these several years and bought them at an estate sale for that purpose..they are truly wonderful and I would think getting very hard to find at least in this shape.
